Villa Balbianello

Villa Balbianello is one of the most striking villas in the world.  It cascades down the mountains to the lake’s shore.  It was here that one of the recent Star Wars episodes was filmed and another movie entitled “A Month on the Lake” with Vanessa Redgrave and Uma Thurman.  Allied Generals also used this villa for a spell during WWII.
