Felice Soave

Felice Soave was one of Europe’s most important architects in the latter half of the 18th century.  Like many great artists, Felice Soave gained his recognition late in life with the culmination of his work being his most praised and daring design--Villa Passalacqua.  The great Alessandro Manzoni said of his maestro, Felice Soave, “A rigid man of great prestige and moral rectitude--the only teacher I have who deserves my esteem”.
